What do they have in common?

First, all Kindle e-readers have subscriptions. Gone are the days of using a physical keyboard and d-pad to navigate the Kindle interface. The only model with physical buttons is the Kindle Oasis (page turn button).
Second, all Kindle e-readers have a back. This feature was originally reserved for the Paperwhite and other “premium” models, but now you can read in the dark on all of them.
